    Description

    This Introduction to NFPA 70E course (2024 Edition)—offered through the EST Safety Network in partnership with ClickSafety—provides an introductory-level overview of electrical safety in the workplace under the NFPA 70E standard. In just 45 minutes, you’ll learn why the NFPA 70E was developed, understand the basics of electric shock and arc flash hazards, and gain awareness of approach boundaries, risk assessments, warning labels, and personal protective equipment. 

    This course is designed for anyone who may work around electrical distribution systems with currents greater than 50 volts—whether electrical work is a regular part of your job or an occasional exposure. No prior electrical safety training is required.
