    This Introduction to NFPA 70E Voice Authentication course (2024 Edition)—offered through the EST Safety Network in partnership with ClickSafety—provides an introductory overview of electrical safety under the NFPA 70E standard with built-in voice authentication to confirm your identity. This meets proctoring requirements in states that mandate identity verification for online safety training. 

    This course uses voice authentication. VA verifies your identity by prompting you to confirm your voice at random intervals. You must have access to a mobile phone or landline while taking the course. 

    In approximately 45 minutes, you’ll learn why the NFPA 70E was developed, understand the basics of electric shock and arc flash hazards, and gain awareness of approach boundaries, risk assessments, warning labels, and personal protective equipment. No prior electrical safety training is required.
